REMEMBRANCE DAY
872 has the opportunity to participate in the Kanata Remembrance Day parade on November 11.
Cadet will be meeting at 1015 in the parking lot of the Russian Orthodox Church of Blessed St. Xenis at 2 Colchester Square. We will be marching to the Cenotaph in Village Green Memorial Park.
As this is a school day, cadets will need permission to attend.

TRIP TO MONTREAL COSMODOME
On Saturday 12 November, 872 is going on a trip to the Cosmodome in Montreal! This is an excellent opportunity to learn about aerospace and participate in a hands-on, space-based activity as well as touring the exhibitions.
Bus would be leaving from AY Jackson at 7:30am and returning by 5:00pm.
Cadets must bring their own lunches and a water bottle. Some snacks and refreshments will be brought as well.
Green uniforms will be worn.

Biathlon Team
Biathlon Practice, 5 Nov, CardelRec Stittsville (running oval) 0900-1100
The 872 Sqn Angry Unicorns biathlon team will be having its next practice.
This practice is open to ALL LEVELS (both returning and new team members)
ELIGIBILITY: If you can run 2Km without stopping and have no medical restrictions that stop you from handling a firearm, you can participate. Note that there will be no marksmanship at this practice.
DATE: Saturday 5 Nov 2022
TIME: 0900-1100
LOCATION: CardelRec Recreation Centre, Stittsville (at the Running Oval, see map)
SIGN UP: Cadets must sign up by 2300 hrs Friday 4 Nov, here: SIGN UP LINK
Cadets should be dressed in layers appropriate for running and other exercise and have their own supply of water.
Cadets should also be prepared to run continuously for up to 2km at a time.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: Those cadets participating in the range activity on the same day may sign up for both activities, and will be able to leave the biathlon practice at 1000 hrs.
