Regional Summer Training Courses Information

As per new directive Natl CJCR Sp Gp 7003-1-13, these courses do not include an interview and report card is no longer required.

The three (3) camps available are:

Advanced Aviation Technology Course – Aircraft Maintenance (AATC-AM)

This course introduces cadets to the field of aircraft maintenance by engaging them in a dynamic learning environment and exposing them to a variety of aircraft manufacturing and maintenance functions.

Advanced Aviation Technology Course – Airport Operations (AATC-AO)

This course introduces cadets to the operations of an airport by engaging them in a dynamic learning environment and by exposing them to a variety of activities that occur in the air industry.

Advanced Aerospace Course (AASC)

This course provides cadets with training in the fundamentals of aerospace science through the development of knowledge and skills relevant to various aspects of the aerospace industry within the format of a simulated space mission project

Eligibility criteria:

  • Successfully completed Level 3 by end of current training year
  • Most recent Cadet Fitness Assessment result that occurred between 1 Sep to   31 Dec of the current training year
  • No medical restrictions that would prevent participation in the course
  • Duration: 6 weeks
  • Be recommended by the Squadron CO based on the squadron matrix
