This weekend – WE NEED CADETS for the 2023 Fallen Fighter’s parade on LeBreton flats (200 Lett St.), from around 8:30-9 to around 1, we will primarily be focusing on assisting families with memorial wall etchings of their loved one’s names, water distribution and clean-up. The best place for drop-off and pick-up will be on Fleet St. Parents are welcome to attend the parade.

Next weekend: We will also be helping with the Battle of Britain parade at Beechwood Cemetery, from 8 until around noon, the 10 cadets that sign-up will be doing the following tasks in their C1 (Ceremonial); one bilingual cadet will be helping emcee the ceremony, helping coordinate the ceremony, standing guard and escorting veterans. Next weekend: The squadron will be assisting the Rotary Club with their Clean up the Capital – Castlefrank Fall Clean up, on September 16, 2023, at 9:00 AM – 12:00, drop off will be at the parking lot of the WOCRC, dress will be FTUs.

All of these events could be used for volunteer hours for school/Duke of Edinburgh program
