Summer courses are available to all cadets who have completed Level 3 and higher.
Please fill out this form and let us know your TOP THREE CHOICES.
Squadrons get spots based on the size of their units, so we can only send a few cadets per camp. IT IS NOT GUARANTEED THAT YOU GET A COURSE.
AIR CADET SPECIFIC COURSES:
Advanced Aviation (CFB Greenwood, Nova Scotia)
Online: July 3 – July 7, In-person: July 17 – August 5
Must have completed level 3 and be at least 14 years old.
Survival Instructor (CFB Borden, Ontario)
Online: July 3 – July 7, In-person: July 9 – July 29.
Must have completed level 3 and be at least 14 years old.
COMMON (TRI-ELEMENTAL) COURSES:
Drill and Ceremonial Instructor (CFB Greenwood, Nova Scotia)
Online: July 3 – July 7, In-person: August 6 – August 26
Must have completed level 3.
Fitness and Sports Instructor (CFB Gagetown, New Brunswick)
Online: July 3 – July 7, In-person: July 16 to August 4
Must have completed level 3.
Air Rifle Marksmanship Instructor (Connaught Ranges, Ottawa)
Online: July 3 – July 7, In-person: July 9 – July 29.
Must have completed level 3.
Music Course – Music Band (CFB Comox, British Columbia)
Online: July 3 – July 7, In-person: July 16 – August 5
Must have completed level 3 and be at least 14 years old. Recommended that cadets have at least music qualification Level 1.

LEVEL 1 & 2 SUMMER CAP (CADET ACTIVITIES PROGRAM)

Once again this summer, you are eligible to participate in the Cadet Activities Program for your levels.
LEVEL 1 (CAP 1)
Your program is four days, 8am-430pm (timings to be confirmed). You need to be dropped off everyday with a water bottle and lunch and picked up at the end of the day. You must wear your Field Training Uniform (The green one).
You have two different weeks to choose from:
CAP 1 (1) Connaught Range
August 10 – August 13
CAP 1 (2) Connaught Range
August 26 – August 29
LEVEL 2 (CAP 2)

AVIATION MUSEUM VISIT & NORTHSTAR RESTORATION PROJECT TOUR
There is still time to sign up for the squadron’s visit to the Aviation Museum on March 25. It will be a great day filled with activities in the museum, put on by senior cadets and part of your training. There will also be a unique opportunity for cadets to get a guided tour of the museum’s project to restore a C-5 Northstar, formerly flown by the RCAF.
