Staff Announcements for the week of 18 May 2023

SUPPLY NIGHT — 23 MAY 2023

Next Tuesday (May 23), there will be a « Supply Night » at Dymon Storage Kanata, from 7-9pm for cadets that are missing parts of their uniform; especially blue uniform parts in preparation for the ACR (ties, wedges, ranks, etc.) as long as have it in stock.
What: Supply Night
When: May 23, 7-9pm
Where: Dymon Storage in Kanata (110 Didsbury Rd, Kanata, ON K2T 0C2)
How:
1 – walk in with your request or any part that needs to be replaced (especially DEU/blue uniform parts) or
2 – e-mail supply in advance at supply@872rcacs.ca informing the part you need (please specify size/measurements if you are able to provide details).
**Note: boots are in very low stock and very limited sizes. 
Cadets are allowed to use their field boots if they do not have dress boots.
If you can’t attend it, we will also try to accommodate requests received up to Tuesday (May 23) to bring items for the Wednesday night parade (May 24).

GLIDER FAMILIARIZATION FLIGHTS — SUNDAY 21 MAY 2023

872 is able to send 20 cadets to go gliding on Sunday 21 May. Specific times will be announced soon, but it will be in the morning.We can only send 20 cadets. Not a single one more. 872 RCACS ANNUAL CEREMONIAL REVIEW — 27 MAY 2023

Saturday 27 May is our ACR! It is the last mandatory activity of the year and our chance to show off as a squadron, look great to family, friends, special guests, and members of the community, and demonstrate some things you’ve learned through the year.

Timings for that week:Wednesday 24 May    – 6:30pm – 8:30pm Training Night is at Stittsville Arena to practice parade drill.Friday 26 May              – 6:30pm – 8:30pm Parade practice and setting upSaturday 27 May –       – 8:00am arrival for cadets. (DO NOT WEAR UNIFORMS…you must BRING them)                                        -1:30pm – cadets fall into parade

                                        -2:00pm – parade begins
