872 Angry Unicorns Biathlon will be having its first marksmanship session at Camp Fortune on Saturday, 17 Dec, at 0830 hrs, with pick-up at 1300hrs

The range will open at 0900 so it is very important for all cadets to be present no later than 0830. The team will be learning procedures and marksmanship on the range: some waiting in the cold will be required – be prepared!
Each cadet *MUST HAVE*:– Hat (tuque) and Gloves– Appropriate layered clothing for sports (you will get hot, you will get cold)– Water bottleOptional:– Peanut-free snack

872 DRILL TEAM
The squadron will be starting up the drill team again, for the first time since March 2020. Cadets of all ranks and levels who have a special interest in learning more advanced drill and being a part of the squadron drill team are invited to come out on Tuesday 10 January 2023 to Glen Cairn Public School for the first drill team night of the training year.Bring your parade boots if you have them.Drill Team will take place on Tuesdays until the end of the training year.

FINAL PRACTICE – FRIDAY DEC 16
Our final practice will be this Friday at Maurice Lapointe gym. Practice will be from 1900 – 2100hrs, dress is FTUs. This will be your last chance to ask questions in person. For those of you trying out for IC, you can have the command sheet for Friday.
TRYOUTS – MONDAY DEC 19
Tryouts will be this upcoming Monday, at Maurice Lapointe cafetorium, NOT Glen Cairn on Tuesday. It will be from 1900 – 2100hrs, dress is C1 (blues with medals). Those of you trying out for IC must have all the commands memorized for Monday. WO2 Muise will go over how tryouts will work on Friday.
