Junior Ground School – 3 Feb 2020

Ground School is the first step towards any exciting aviation career or perhaps a cool hobby. All pilots must have a thorough understanding of the theory and rules which allow them to fly in order to be safe and professional. Compared to the Senior Ground School Course, this course is an introduction that aims to ramp cadets into the Senior Ground School Program. Though slimmer in content, Junior Ground School is still a fast paced learning experience and it is open to all cadets who would like to participate but limited in numbers. This course is no guarantee that the candidate will receive a scholarship course, that is determined by merit alone. This course will cover some of the basic knowledge required to take the Glider and/or Power Pilot Scholarship Exam. Below are some of the tentative topics that will be covered, be aware that this is a living document and is subject to change up to instructor discretion.
