Inter-squadron Bowling Competition 18 Jan 2020.

742 Air Cadet Squadron will be hosting its Annual Regional Bowling Competition at West Park Bowling on 18 January 2020. There is no cost to the cadets for bowling, however there is a concessionary if they want to bring some money. Any money brought will be the cadet responsibility.

Competition will be a two-hour event starting at 1400 hrs and ending at 1630 hrs on 18 January 2020. The activity will consist of rules/safety briefing followed by gameplay and will foster teambuilding as well as encourage regional cadet interaction between the corps / squadrons of the Ottawa Valley within a fun, organized, sport- centered environment – in line with aim of the cadet program to promote physical fitness

The Bowling Competition will be carried out with each team assigned an individual lane. Teams will have a maximum of two hours to complete two games of ten frames each.

The winning team will be established based on the average score per person per team of a single game of bowling, with the winning team having the highest averaged score.

Dress.
(1) All cadets will wear appropriate civilian clothing with the squadron Blue T-shirt; and
(2) Clean socks for bowling and removal of all jewelry prior to game play are recommended.

Transportation. Cadets are expected to coordinate their own transportation to and from the West Park Bowling. No transportation will be provided.

We are invited to submit one team of six cadets consisting of at least two junior cadets (12 to 14 years old) as well as two female cadets.

If you can no longer attend please advise us soonest so we can give the opportunity to another cadet.
