Sunday 11 September 0900h-1200h – Canadian Fallen Firefighters Memorial Parade We need 20 cadets to volunteer to assist the Canadian Fallen Firefighter’s Federation run their annual parade at the memorial across from the War Museum downtown. Community service hours will apply. Sign up in Cadet 365

Wednesday 14 September1900h-2030h – Level 2-4 ONLY Annual information verification and briefings. Kanata Community Christian Reformed Church.

Saturday 17 September 0830h-1730h – Aero-Gatineau Air Show The region has purchased 20 cadets per Ottawa area squadron to attend the airshow at Gatineau airport for the day and participate in activities at the event. Sign up in Cadet 365. A bus will be provided.

Sunday 18 September – Abseiling HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Wednesday 21 September 1830h – 2100h – First night of training AND New Recruit/Parent Information Night. ALL CADETS! For Levels 2-5, it is the first night of training. For new recruits and their families it is the first night to officially register and get information about the program. It will be at AY Jackson Secondary School.

Saturday 24 September – Marksmanship Day at Connaught Ranges All cadets must attend. Will be a chance to handle air rifles, qualify on targets, and get the mandatory training completed. Will also be sports and other activities.

Saturday 24 September – Sunday 25 September – Level 5 Leadership Refresher Weekend HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

NEW DATE – Friday 28 October – Sunday 30 October – Fall Survival Field Training Exercise – Connaught Range 872 will be holding our first FTX of the year. It is mandatory for all cadets to attend one per year, so everyone must make the effort to attend. More information to come. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in this thread.
