FALL SURVIVAL FIELD TRAINING EXERCISE

The weekend of 28-30 October will be 872’s first full FTX since the fall of 2019. It will be taking place at Connaught Ranges. 

Friday: Some seniors and staff will be arriving on Friday evening to set up the site. They will be staying overnight.

Saturday: Cadets will be dropped off at the access gate at 8:00am (located on Google Maps at 45°23’24.2″N 75°56’10.8″W).

Sunday: All cadets will be picked up at this same location by 4:00pm on Sunday afternoon.

Permission form must be filled in and returned by next Wednesday 19 October so we can prepare our attendance lists. The form has the list of things to bring and pack.

ONLINE GROUND SCHOOL

If you have registered for the online ground school program, which is required for application to Glider and Power next summer, you should have received your information by now. If you haven’t please let Major Wood know via email.
