Outaouais Music Clinic – Saturday, November 16

Band cadets going to the Outaouais Music Clinic this Saturday should report to AY Jackson by no later than 7:45am on Saturday, busses leave at 8am sharp. Bring your instrument, water bottle and packed lunch.

Busses return at 5:30pm. 

Supply Night – Recruit Make Up and Open Supply

Any recruit that missed their original supply night call up is asked to report to Supply this Friday, Dymon Storage between 630pm and 8pm. 

Any cadet requiring assistance, sizing or missing parts is invited to visit Supply this Friday.

If you are waiting for boots, DO NOT come to Supply unless the Supply Officer has been in contact with you.

Marksmanship Final Tryout – By Invitation Only

This Saturday, the Marksmanship Team will have its final tryout at Connaught Ranges from 9am to 12pm. Visit the Marksmanship Channel on Teams to verify your name is on the list. If it is, report to the indoor range at 5 Brouillette, Connaught Ranges at 9am.

Biathlon Final Tryouts (and practice)

This Saturday the Biathlon team will hold final tryouts for Levels 2 and up for the remaining spots. Tryout will consist of a beep test, shoot and track run. Sign up on Teams if you’re interested. Come prepared to exercise, bring water and dress for the weather. 

Senior athletes, please sign up on Teams so we know who is coming and dress for the weather! 

Drill Team Practice Changing Location for This Tuesday Only!

Tuesday, November 19, drill practice will take place at Tony Graham Recreational Centre, Upper Hall “A” from 7pm to 9pm. 

 

 

Kiwanis Santa Claus Parade – Saturday, November 23

Calling all Unicorns! 

Show your holiday spirit and squadron pride by joining us to march in the Kanata Santa Claus Parade, Saturday, November 23. 

Cadets interested in participating should sign up using the Shifts app on Teams.

Start time is 9:30am at Holy Redeemer Church off Eagleson, and pick up is Hazeldean Mall, 12:00pm.  Order of Dress is C3 (blue uniform) or C5 (green uniform), cadet parka and toque (or civvies appropriate for the weather).

Special Edition Squadron Bags On Sale For a Limited Time!

The ever practical garment bag and duffle are back and on sale for a limited time.

Beautifully embroidered with the full colour squadron crest, name customization is available for that special cadet! 

Visit the squadron apparel shop to order yours today – sale is limited and will close for orders on November 27th! 









A portion of all sales in the squadron shop returns to the squadron to help fund special activities and outings for your cadet. Thank you for your support.

The Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Auction is Only One Week Away! Get Your Tickets Before They’re Sold Out!

Saturday, November 23rd 2024. 6:30pm at the John G. Mlacak Community Centre, 2500 Campeau Dr, Kanata, ON K2K 2W3 in Halls A,B,C,D.  Enter through the main doors and follow the signs.

Silent and live auctions will take place during and following dinner. Get your tickets early!

Have fun, support the Squadron, do some early Christmas shopping or treat yourself.
