Become an Air Cadet with 872 RCACS
Youth ages 12–18 build leadership, confidence, and teamwork through the national Cadet Program.

Ready to Join?
872 Kiwanis Kanata Squadron is part of the national Cadet Program, offering structured activities, hands-on learning, and team-based experiences throughout the school year.
We know it’s not always easy to figure out how things work, that’s why we’ve kept the process simple and open to everyone.
If you have questions, you’re welcome to visit us in person on a training night – no commitment needed.
When you’re ready, the first step is to complete the online registration forms.
Register with the Government of Canada
All cadets must complete the official registration on the national Cadet Portal.
This is mandatory and must be done before anything else.

Step 2: Please fill out Parent Info & Allergy Form
To ensure we are aware of any food allergies, sensitivities, cultural or religious dietary preferences for each cadet, the SSC requests that you complete the form below.
Without this information, your child may not be able to participate in certain activities where food is provided.
Note: This information is for SSC and squadron use only. Rest assured your information will be secure and never shared outside of the squadron.
Step 3: Attend the Registration Night
Parent or guardian attendance is mandatory to complete registration with Cadet Squadron Staff.
Please bring the cadet’s health card and proof of legal status.
Attend Registration night to:
- Complete registration with the required documentation
- Ask questions to staff, senior cadets, and parent volunteers
- Make a donation (optional but appreciated)
